I like people and I am passionate about patients’ orthopaedics, health and wellness. I aim to provide expert diagnoses and treatment programs to establish long lasting recoveries. By thoroughly explaining the nature of problems, advising on how to avoid future ones and prescribing exercises, I feel that I positively impact patients’ health trajectories.

NOT ACCEPTING NEW ICBC CLAIMS AT THIS TIME. Sarah is a graduate of the 3000 hour program at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy who has always been interested in healing and has previously studied herbal medicine, nutrition and Ayurveda. Sarah combines therapeutic massage techniques and relaxation massage to create a massage therapy session which is both relaxing and effective. This helps patients recover from acute, chronic and postural issues while at the same time relaxing the body to reduce stress, which further aids the healing process. Sarah’s approach to massage therapy stems from an in depth understanding of the musculoskeletal system and a passion to educate the patient in the cultivation of their wellness. Her joyful attitude and inquisitive nature allow her to develop customized treatment plans based on individual needs so that the patient may achieve and maintain their health goals. She particularly enjoys treating postural imbalances, headaches/migraines, myofascial trigger points, chronic pain, acute injuries, neurological conditions, women’s health, and stress-related concerns. In addition, she provides home care exercises to enhance the effectiveness of the massage treatment results, and encourage the patient to take an active role in their wellness. In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors, yoga, and exploring her creative side through painting and drawing.

Acupuncture has long been used to heal the body’s system from pain, stress / anxiety, sleep issues, gastrointestinal disorders, migraines, gynaecological complications, menopausal symptoms, and everything in between.
Acupuncture is the most studied alternative therapy today and has been shown to be effective at calming our sympathetic nervous system. When thrown off balance, it can cause serious complications, including chronic disorders and premature aging. Regular acupuncture therapy is able to reset the nervous system and encourage the body to heal.
A session of acupuncture therapy is surprisingly painless, extremely relaxing, and often provides noticeable results. Registered acupuncturists have extensively studied Chinese medicine and this ancient healing art and will incorporate acupuncture, cupping, and/or moxibustion into each individualized session for greater improvement.
Maggie is a licensed and board certified Registered Acupuncturist with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture (CTCMA). She attained her Bachelor of Arts degree from UBC.
